program rewards our partners for marketing PedigreeSoft.com products.
Whether you're a webmaster, librarian, genealogist or family member, you
know people who would benefit from and purchase PedigreeSoft.com
products. The affiliate program allows you to receive a generous commission
on every referral sale that you send our way.

Pedigreesoft.com Commission Chart:
For every sale of PedigreeSoft.com Standard ($39.95 retail) you receive $15.00.
For every sale of PedigreeSoft.com Deluxe ($59.95 retail) you receive $25.00.
For every sale of PedigreeSoft.com Pro ($99.95 retail) you receive $35.00.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I refer a sale?
Place a special link to PedigreeSoft.com on your website. Any visitors who
follow the link from your site are tracked. If they purchase a subscription,
the appropriate commission is deposited into your commission account.
The referral is still attributed to you even if the visitor creates a free
account and later upgrades (even months later) to a paid subscription.
However, if the customer cancels their account within the 30 day
money-back guarantee period the commission will be forfeited (in order
to protect us from affiliate fraud.)

Do I have to have a website?
Short answer: yes. However, if, for instance, you are an organization that
is interested in selling PedigreeSoft products directly to your members
without using a website, your members can use your unique referral code
when subscribing to credit the referral to your organization's affiliate
account.

How am I paid? How often am I paid?
A check is cut and mailed to you via USPS at the beginning of each month
for the sum of your commissions for the previous month. Commissions
may also be paid out electronically via PayPal.

Will I receive an additional commission when an account that I referred
renews their subscription next year?
Yes, you will receive a commission every time that customer renews their
subscription. However: All commissions are reduced by 50% for each
renewal after the first year.

How do I track my affiliate status and account?
We are working on an online system which will easily allow you to track
the success of your affiliate campaign and view the status of your account
and manage your earnings. This system is not yet available, but will be in
the near future.

How do I become a PedigreeSoft Affiliate?
Until the affiliate website is available, send an email to
affiliate@pedigreesoft.com containing your name, mailing address and
website. We will send you the affiliate agreement and additional details on
how to begin earning your commissions.

Do you have banner ads or graphics?
A selection of PedigreeSoft.com graphics and other marketing materials
will be available soon, but remember, word-of-mouth advertising is
typically the most effective.

What kind of advertising is allowed?
Unsolicited e-mail (i.e. spam) is prohibited. Any case of unsolicited e-mail
will result in immediate termination of your affiliate account, as well as
forfeiture of any commissions. Spam will not be tolerated in any way. Any
misleading or deceptive marketing practices are also strictly prohibited.
