I have imported a file from Family Tree Maker but my sourcing is not correct. For instance, for a date of birth it may list birth certificate but I cannot access the information which indicated where I found the birth certificate. Or for a residence, it may show 1900 census but in FTM I have included additional info such as district, page and line. Is this information lost? Should I change formatting?
Also, where I have listed things like residence or occupation in FTM it allows me to indicate the year. That is also missing. Any ideas?
thanks

Hi Doris-
Occasionally other software products vary in their interpretation of the
GEDCOM file format which means that sometimes it is difficult for us to
properly format the file into the PedigreeSoft format. If you could email
the affected GEDCOM to support@pedigreesoft.com we can look at the file
and adjust our system to interpret the file in the desired way. I apologize
for the inconvenience.
Thanks,
Matt Garner
