| I currently have a lot of information in Legacy software. I have been unable to download the file to Pedigreesoft. I do not wish to re-enter all the data I have already done in another program...what am I doing wrong?? |

PedigreeSoft cannot directly interpret a Legacy file, but it can interpret
a GEDCOM file. You will need to use Legacy to export/save your work into
a GEDCOM file that can be interpreted by PedigreeSoft. If you have
already created a GEDCOM file and are still having difficulty, it's possible
that our system is having trouble interpreting the GEDCOM file because
not all family tree programs create GEDCOM files following the same
standard.
If you need further assistance, please email your GEDCOM as an
attachment to support@pedigreesoft.com and we will load it into your
Pedigree file for you and/or adjust our system to correctly handle
similar GEDCOM files in the future. |
